oh boy...

So I had planned on getting on here & blogging my life away, but I have been completely out of things to blog... well you know life as it is just isn't doing anything blog worthy...

BUT I have come across some pretty exciting things to share with you all in the past few days that i will now tell you about.

First off we are planning a trip back to AZ here shortly. and by "shortly" I mean Friday! So 2 days from now I will be on a plane flying over Colorado & New Mexico! Then off to Disneyland with the family!! Which should prove to be interesting... as long as I don't have to travel in the same vehicle as the ONE person who I simply CAN NOT get along with no matter HOW HARD I try... Returning to AZ will be Awesome since I get to stay an entire month... which was arranged by my lovely sister who just HAD to get her summer school in BEFORE she comes out to KY to visit & see the place I now call home! ^_^ There are people I need to see & places I need to go while I'm there so here is a list I've come up with so far

So in a nutshell I need to soak in as many Sunny days & summer nights of AZ as I can in a month! & I plan to live it up 100% I don't want to bum around mums house or run errands all day, so HIT ME UP when you have a day off & we can totally chill!

Travelocity commercial gone terrribly wrong...

So I have a friend.... a really good friend. I believe I've mentioned her before... Well this last Friday she was given a gift. a gift of a garden gnome. Yes. You heard me right. a garden gnome... A "Paint your own garden gnome" to be precise. 

so I'm sure this question has popped up in your head, as it did mine, Who the hell gives someone a paint your own garden gnome kit as a gift???

well I wont go into those details as I promised not to "got to far"... cuz I have a tendency of doing that...

ANYWAY Friday night got quite boring and this friend of mine decides to name this gift, of garden gnome-ness.  

Herbert is the name... Herbert the garden gnome.

Then she proceeds to paint her friend Herbert. & after many minutes of contemplation, she goes with a "joker" theme. from the Dark Knight, naturally, since this one was portrayed the best ever in existence.

So, our joker faced, pencil holding, magic trick doing, garden gnome friend came to be. 

Now we've decided that, since he has become quite popular amongst the NIN Louisville/Indiana/Tennessee & I want to say Ohio fan base, we are going to make Herbert the garden gnome our new designated every-other-weekend out buddy! ^_^

Well this Saturday we found ourselves at Thunder Over Louisville!! A very RAD place to be if you are ever here in Louisville during the month if April, & Of course Herbert was with. we had a blast & Herbert became quite the social butterfly taking picture with tons of people & landmarks. 

We've come to the conclusion that this gift of garden gnome awesomeness will take us places. he is our ticket to the big times... & should he fail (since we're giving him til the NIN concert in AZ this may) we will at least have these pictures & the memory of our dear too-tiny-to-make-a-difference-in-a-garden friend Herbert.

teething...

SUCKS! I think this is the worst part of the first year... & what sucks even worse is how helpless i am... I cant do anything for my poor Charlee Bug... sure you got tylenol,& teething tablets, & oragel.. but all those things wear out rather quickly... or it seems that way...then all i can do is let her chew on my finger til it's pruned up, but the poor thing is hurtin the entire time... ugh isn't there a fast forward button around here anywhere???

Updates...

Looks like we've hit another bad luck streak... Our car stereo was stolen the other day which sucks ass... a unexpected fee was applied to our bank account that took all the money we were going to spend on our Anniversary. Not to mention, we are a bajillion miles from family so we have no one to celebrate this Big Anniversary (5 years) with =(( ... 

*sigh* 

Things will get better... I know it...

but right now...

I guess we just have to wait it out...

I absolutely hate doing this to myself... I've tried REALLY hard to keep my head up & stay looking to the bright side... but every now and again my mind gets the best of me. I think about things I shouldn't and the more I try to tell myself not to, and that it isn't good for me, the deeper I look into that shitty situation in my head. I want to be happy, I want to live a good life, free of drama & Bull Shit, but Sometimes the stupid opinions & bull shit criticism of others really clouds my vision of the "bright side". I recently read a letter from a very close friend of mine to someone who had a quite terrible outlook on life, and it really helps me keep my cool. Because there are SOME F***** UP things I REALLY want to say to SOME F***** UP people that really deserve a good mouthful... But I think about what can happen from that, and I choose the "adult" way out and go with the flow, trying to look past THEIR childish ways... UGH... can we say, bad day...

A Major Achievement

So anyone who has ever met Cyrus for at least 5 minutes (especially in the last year) knows how "into" puzzles this boy is! He loves them! Although most of his puzzles consisted of 24-42 pieces, until now the largest puzzle he's completed was 64 pieces which took him longer than the normal 1-5minutes it usually takes... And mind you all of these puzzles are character-based be it Nickelodeon, Disney, or PBS.
Well, The other day, this past Saturday to be precise, in not so many words, he was determined that he's a big boy and he's grown tired of the same ol' quick meaningless puzzles... SOOOOOOO after 10 minutes or so, he's got his heart set on this 100 piece "I-Spy" castle puzzle... I have to admit Aaron and I were a bit skeptical about this, thinking only of the mess we were to pick up after he was to throw a fit & toss the puzzle off the table... 0.o Buuuut We said what the heck, the day he'll want to upgrade to a bigger puzzle is sure to come either way, Why not today.
So here we are 4 days later & only once did I have to pick up the pieces, and not off the floor either! Now I wont lie, there were a few times when he got frustrated... but *GASP* no throwing of any objects!!! My tantrum throwing little boy is growing up!! ^_^
ANYWAY
He did it! Cyrus has completed hs FIRST 100 PIECE puzzle all by himself! & We are all SOOOOOOO proud of him! ^_^ Check out his pics!

Update on Little Miss Charlee Bug <3

So we went out to Charlotte's new doctor yesterday for her 2 month check up and shots. The doctor is a doll & everyone in the office fell in love with the kids. lol Oh and every one called Charlotte "Yummy" ??? =p So here it its She weighs 9 lbs. 9.5 oz. and is 21 inches long ^_^ which doesn't seem like a lot (it's about the same as a good sized newborn) but seeing as she was so tiny at birth (6 lbs. 7 oz. & 17.5 inches) and then lost almost a whole pound afterward, it's great progress. ^_^ Anyway in all she's healthy & happy. Mind you she's still a bit cross due to the shots =( but that's a given...

Zombie status... The verge of a breakdown... or Insanity is hereditary - you get it from your kids.

I've hit it... I forgot how hard it was having a newborn in the house, especially one who is teething already! 0.o I haven't had a descents nights sleep in a while, I mean I get to sleep... sometimes... for like 2-4 hours at a time, but it's finally weighing down on me... I was thinking we could finally get some sleep tonight since Cyrus fell asleep at a decent hour and Charlotte was about ready to go to bed anyway. Boy was I wrong... Charlotte springs into this frenzy around 3 am and is fully alert & pissed off that the lights are all out, is drooling like crazy starts runnin' hot, then manages to wake Cyrus up who is equally pissed about the rude awakening. I try everything in my power to calm her down then, a bath, diaper change, q-tip of Oragel, 30 minute feeding, and about a million paces around the dining room table all within 3 hours later, she's finally out. and I'm on YET ANOTHER "2nd wind" thankfully because Cyrus is now wide awake and ready to get/keep his day rolling. He's watching his playhouse disney now, and after Mickey Mouse we're making blueberry pancakes, followed by Arts & crafts with our new materials! Wish me luck that I don't fall over and fall face first into a palate of paint... or worse Elmers glue!!!! 

For people who know Aaron...

Hahahahaha talk about being proud of your heritage! ^_^ we went out to Meijer the other day and they have a pretty awesome "world foods" section, and their British section is pretty neat. Mind you ANY time we go to Meijer we have to make a pit stop there! I love tea hot, cold, with cream, without... it's great. Well Aaron spots this particular brand called PG Tips and says "HEY this PG tips stuff is supposed to be awesome, you should get some." So I was like cool. We went home and I boiled the water, let it brew... And YE-HEAY it was GREAT! I was like mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Aaron was quite please that I liked it. Mind you Aaron SWEARS that he hates the stuff, but decides HE wanted to "try" some, since it IS English tea... BWAHAhahahaahhahahahaha! and he did and OF COURSE HE LOOOOVES it! hahahahaha and it gets better! He like asks me to make him a cup of tea almost everyday! ^_^ idk I thought it was funny! =p and pretty cool cuz now after the kids are asleep we can have our cup of tea and relax on the sofa... <3

The Best Way To Do It...

To start your morning that is! ^_^ I had a WONDERFUL morning with my boog, he is so sweet!! He woke up at 8:30 this morning and quietly got out of bed, went to the kitchen & got two string cheeses, and a cup, and some juice. Then he brought it to me in bed and said "Good morning mudda, I brought you breakfast for bed" lol that just melted my heart! Hey if Aaron wont do it at least one guy in my life will! ^_^ So anyway, thankfully Charlotte and Aaron were still asleep, and we were able to sneak out of the room & go out to the living room to watch the new Little Einsteins movie we got him this weekend ^_^ We had a BLAST!

Did I mention he doesn't like clothes??? =p Oh and YES his under ware ARE on backwards, and he STILL has a "thing" for soft fabric so he's playing with the tag on his undies! =p

For Starters...

So I've never been one to keep a journal/blog/letter going in one direction for more than a few sentences... my mind wanders and I tend to move from subject to subject faster than a rabbit on speed... yes... I've seen it before... well maybe it wasn't a rabbit... but you get the point! =p I have a personality all my own, I'm crazy, I'm funny, I have a unique sense of humor and I can usually get a long with just about anyone. Some people tend to dislike me before they even get a chance to really know me... well there is this ONE person I know who has done just that and I tell you what, I feel sorry for him. Anyway I'm happily married (for the time being =p) (lol just kidding Daddy!) and we have one of those fairly "chill" relationships, we're not prone to fights, (lol he's not anyway!) I try to fight with him and he has a tendency of laughing at me! lol which works out great because it helps me see the brighter side of things and realize that whatever it is, "it's REALLY not that bad" We have two Amazing Children, Cyrus and Charlotte. Cyrus is one of the most interesting children you will ever meet. He is a lot like me in an even more carefree way (for those of you who know me, scary... I know) He is also VERY smart, which I have to say he gets from his daddy. He's a fast learner, and quite talented. I can hardly say as much for Charlotte at the moment, seeing as she's all of 2 months old! =p but she's a strong one. she shimmy's her way around on the floor and on the bed during tummy time, she laughs, she coo's and she is ABSOLUTELY in love with her daddy! <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">the best ever she has never let me down and she has done so much for me my entire life, I love her with everything in me. I also have a handful of people I like to consider "BESTIES" ^_^ My # 1 is my favorite little Sister Nina<3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Lol & Addy... she's So damn crazy and can ALWAYS make me laugh, yet she knows when times call for seriousness, and has really been there when I need her, I love her to death! Hahahaha and WHO CAN FORGET miss Rachel! (lol I can obviously!) naw but I've known this girl forever! & although we've had lots of highs & lows in our relationship, we've always been there for each other. Last but definitely not least there is my Jessipoo who needs no explanation, lol she's a card & I love her more than life!! =p (she's right up there with my brats!) So those are my girls and even though we may not talk every 5 seconds, we're always here for each other, and we will always be besties! Now don't get me wrong I have a TON of Amazing people in my life and I love them ALL! So anyway, I'm sure this blog will most likely have a variety of random posts. There is never a dull moment in my life and it's definitely not perfect, but it's who I am, and with this, I plan to share it with you all. hope you enjoy...
